Liposuction of hips, buttocks, and thighs (liposculpture) allows for gentle forming of the silhouette. “Saddle-bags” in particular are often due to congenital factors. A liposuction can provide help on areas that cannot be shaped by sports and diet alone. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, the result is immediately visible.

Too Much of a Good Thing
Some women feel themselves as being too much favored by nature on the buttocks, hips, and thighs, and suffer from pronounced fat accumulation on these areas. We repeatedly get to hear from patients affected in this way, how much it bothers them that they have a narrow waist, but need clothes 1 to 2 sizes larger because of their body size from the hips downwards. Each time, shopping becomes a frustrating experience.

Optionally, thin microcannulas are used with a diameter of 1.0 to 2.5 millimeters or regular cannulas with a diameter of 3.0 millimeters upwards.
The Period after Liposuction
After surgery, you must wear a bandage for one day, and afterwards compression garments for 1 week, if liposuction was carried out with microcannulas. If regular cannulas were used, you must wear compression garments for 4 to 6 weeks.
You should be able to go back to work on the day after liposuction was performed on the buttocks, hips and thighs. Wear comfortable loose clothing over the compression garments so that no one notices your little secret.
If liposuction is carried out with microcannulas, and the healing process is optimal, you will be able do sports after 1 to 2 weeks. Based on experience, the healing process takes several weeks longer when liposuction is done with regular cannulas.
